Born at Kununoppin in the northeastern Wheatbelt, Rob was educated at Wialki and Merredin. He has farmed at Wialki all his life, although his son Ian now runs the property with Rob and his wife Pat are the owners and bookkeepers while living in Perth as self-funded retirees.

While Rob’s primary interests have always been family, farm and community, his other interests are many and varied. Over 40 years membership of the WA Farmers Federation saw him hold a range of regional positions, rising to Zone President, Vice President and Senior Vice President. He also spent two years as President of the Federation’s Industrial wing.

Rob has always been heavily involved in local clubs, tennis, golf, and pistol shooting and has been captain, coach and President at various times, He is a level one, nationally accredited coach in ISU rules pistol shooting. President of the local Progress Association, and Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade also kept him busy. He owned and piloted his four seat Cessna aircraft for many years.

Forty one years ago he joined Lions and spent 25 years with his local branch, at all times being an office bearer in almost every position. He was elected District Governor of 201W1, geographically the biggest of 754 districts in 209 countries of the world. He is currently the manager of Lions RazzMaTazz project.

He joined the VHS Board over 10 years ago and was subsequently elected Vice President, and then President.

He likes people, enjoys helping others and firmly believes that volunteers are the happiest people on the planet.

Craig commenced working in the Financial Services industry in 1987 and has over 30 years of experience in a wide range of Banking, Finance and Financial Planning roles.

During his career, he has worked in a spectrum of roles including Credit Management, Legal Recovery, Customer Service Officer, Home & Personal Lending Officer and as an Authorised Representative for a range of financial services companies including Westpac Bank, National Australia Bank, Hunter MMI, Bridge Wholesale Acceptance Corp, United Credit Society, Statewest Credit Society and iwealth Financial Services.

More recently he established his own Financial Planning business, Inspired Money and assists small and medium enterprises, business owners and other individuals based throughout Australia to provide them with Financial Planning services addressing their business and personal wealth creation and protection needs.

Craig’s experience incorporates expertise in Personal Risk Management, Wealth Accumulation strategies including Superannuation (Business and Personal), Managed Investments (Managed Funds), Property trusts (REIT’s), Gearing facilities like Margin Loans and Structured Investment Products, advising and dealing in Securities and the provision of Salary Packaging advice to Government and Non-Government employees.

Holder of an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning) and an Advanced Certificate in Banking and Finance, Craig is passionate about giving quality advice to his clients.

Outside of work, he enjoys various motorsport activities, spending time with family and friends and is an active member of the Rhee Tae Kwon Do community.

Whilst looking to offer his business experience & expertise to the board, Craig cares about supporting his community through organisations like VHS to provide services that make a difference to our clients quality of life.

Barry is a qualified and experienced Senior Business Development Executive with 20+ years in the financial services industry.
He has strong industry knowledge, research

 skills, and legal and compliance knowledge.
He has been awarded “Broker of the Year” from 2001 to 2009 by Bank West.

Utilising his excellent management skills Barry has been responsible for managing teams of up 110 sales agents ensuring consistent optimum sales and business performance.

Barry is self-motivated, flexible, and reliable with a passion for his industry.
