Volunteer Home Support

CEO – Jodie Kulessa

Jodie joined Volunteer Home Support in 1996 never suspecting the organisation would become her career. Having been appointed Deputy CEO in 2006 Jodie’s experience, achievements and dedication to the organisation has seen her appointed by the Board to the position of Chief Executive Officer in January 2019.

Her previous experiences included working in family & criminal law and consumer credit law.

While there have been many experiences over the years, education remains her prime motivation. She holds a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and a Diploma in Business Management & Leadership.

Jodie is a full member of AuSAE – Australian Society of Association Executives and is a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.

Over the years she has seen many changes within the Aged Care Industry and the organisation itself growing from 238 clients to well over 1100 and around 45 volunteers. Her passion for working within the aged care industry, building strong relationships and leading a successful workforce is what drives her to succeed.
